I just got this book - self published by dutch migrants to NZ - Huberta Hellendoorn. Her daughter is 47 and has DS. It is a great read - I really enjoyed it. If you have $30 to spare and like reading - then I think it is worth supporting her - she said that she was going to set up Paypal. Oh that sounds really interesting!!! Would love to have a read of that (I'll add it to the list of 'must reads' ever growing....) Would be interesting to compare her story to Maria's
